DFAC has been invited to Panama courtesy of www.AquaAdventuresPanama.com a family owned and operated Beach Front Resort. It is located on the beach in Punta Burica, about 17 kilometers south of the town of Puerto Armuelles in one of the most beautiful areas of Panama.
World renowned Isla Montuosa, Isla Ladrones and the 1000 fathom drop are all a short run away. Giant Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo and Dorado are all frequent visitors to the waters off Panama.
As the divers now have 4 to 5 full days of spearfishing, 70% of their catch that is harvested is donated to the local needy families and children nearby. The participants can take 30% of their catch home with them to share with their families. Our team of divers will also serve the community through various projects at four of the grammar schools nearby.
Diving For A Cause is welcomed with many opportunities of giving back to the local community. This recipe of spearfishing and giving back has been successful with DFAC and we have no doubt that it will be here as well.
DFAC will be using two 35 ft sportfishing boats. These boats will be led by Dr.Terry Maas, who will guide the captains and crew on our spearfishing techniques.
This is a very generous subsidized week of 8 full days and 8 nights for $1990. Four full days of spearfishing, a fifth day is optional.

Community Service: Bring comfortable shoes, pants and work gloves that you don't mind getting "dirty". We have several projects we will be working on for the local community.
School Supplies: Each participant is donating 5 backpacks loaded with school supplies and a soccer ball in each, and it is included in the price for the trip.DFAC will cover the extra baggage fee for these items, transport them and place them in the hands of the children who will benefit from them. We will bring all the donations with us, participants will not need to worry about carrying them in their luggage. Any extra items the participants would like to add, like stickers or tatoos is welcomed.
