DFAC has been invited to return to Mykonos with our good friend and host Katerina Topouzoglou. Explore numerous offshore reefs, selectively targeting and spearfishing a diversity of fish as we team up with our Greek friends and expert freedivers in Mykonos. This is truly a unique experience of spearfishing and community service.
As the divers spend 4 days spearfishing, the catch that is harvested is donated to the needy families and children at the local churches in Athens. Our team of participants will also support the community with a couple days of service, completing various projects at the local school and church, in cooperation with the local families.
Diving For A Cause is welcomed with many opportunities of giving back to the local community. This recipe of spearfishing and giving back has been successful with DFAC and we have no doubt that it will be here as well.
This is a very generous subsidized week of 8 days and 7 nights with 4 full days of spearfishing, lodging and meals for $1000 for a team of 6 participants that will be paired with 6 Greek divers.
Included is:
1. Spearfishing for 4 full days. Our hosts will provide optional spearguns and weights.
2. Housing for 8 days and 7 nights, courtesy of our host, at Mykonos TopVillas www.MykonosTopVillas.com
3. Simple meals for breakfast and lunch and in the evening unbelievable dining with local hospitality
4. Transportation roundtrip from Mykonos airport to our accomodations and within local Mykonos, as well as final day in Athens.
Not included is:
1.Round trip airfare to Athens, where the team will meet October 1, enjoy dinner together and a tour of the Partheneon for those who are interested. Then in the morning October 2, we will board our plane for Mykonos. We wil return to Athens on October 9, by the morning, where we will enjoy distributing the fish to several local community churches. Participants can plan their departures back home for late afternoon on October 9, or just relax and enjoy Athens for one more evening of dinner, music and fun!
2. Hotel on arrival into Athens and on departure from Athens. Most of the team stays at the local airport hotel for ease of sightseeing the first day and then a relaxed departure on an early morning flight to Mykonos. Some participants may choose to arrive earlier or stay extra days in Athens.
3. Any alcohol purchased
4. Any additional sightseeing costs in Athens
5. Tips to boat captains, housekeeping and cooks

Liability Release and Express Assumption of Risk Form must be submitted with deposit of $500 by February 15, 2015
Dan Trip Insurance is provided for each participant on every trip with DFAC.
Final balance of $500 is due by May 1, 2015
Community Service: Bring comfortable shoes, pants and work gloves that you don't mind getting "dirty".
School Supplies: Gather your pens, pencils, crayons and paper for the schools. The divers will be bringing bags provided by DFAC that will carry these supplies to the needy schools of the community. DFAC will cover the extra baggage fee for these items and place them in the hands of the children who will benefit from them.

Refund Policy
I understand that Diving For A Cause will incur costs associated with airfare, lodging, and other accommodations to facilitate my participation in this event. I further understand that all of these costs are nonrefundable to DFAC. As such, in the event of my cancellation, I recognize that any and all fees paid to Diving For A Cause in payment of my participation shall be non-refundable.
