DFAC has been invited to join our good friend Patrick Papp of Baja Adventure Co in Magdalena Bay on a 41 ft live aboard in October 2023. Our guide, Patrick Papp of Baja Adventure Co is very familiar with this area for spearfishing. The team will be looking for wahoo, yellowtail, dorado and tuna.
A brand new trip for our DFAC team.
As the divers spend 3 full days of spearfishing, 70% of their catch that is harvested is donated to the local community. The balance of the harvested fish is used to supplement dinners for the team and then participants are also encouraged to take the remaining fish back to share with their own families and friends.
Diving For A Cause is welcomed with many opportunities of giving back to the local community. This recipe of spearfishing and giving back has been successful with DFAC and we have no doubt that it will be here as well.
This is a very generous subsidized week of 5 days and 4 nights with 3 full days of spearfishing, lodging on the live aboard and all meals for $2450 for a team of 4 participants. Participants will stay in Loreto last night, those costs are NOT included.
Included for Divers is:
1.Spearfishing for 3 full days on a 41 ft live aboard.
2.Housing for 4 nights, on the live aboard with an amazing chef and all meals and drinks included.

4.Includes a donation of 5 backpacks from each participant. 5 full backpacks with school supplies and soccer ball in each as a donation to the schools with your name on it.
Not included is:
1.Round trip airfare to Loreto, Mexico
2.Last night at hotel of personal choice in Loreto
3.Round trip shuttle from San Carlos to hotel in Loreto
3.Any alcohol purchased
4.Tips to boat captains, housekeeping and cooks

Liability Release and Express Assumption of Risk Form must be submitted with deposit of $1550 with check or $1570 with Paypal by April 29,2023
Final balance of $900 with check or $910 with Paypal is due by August 30, 2023
Community Service:
School Supplies: Our goal is 50 backpacks for the school. DFAC will cover the extra baggage fee for these items and the DFAC team will place them in the hands of the children who will benefit from them.

Refund Policy
I understand that Diving For A Cause will incur costs associated with boats, meals, and other accommodations to facilitate my participation in this event.I understand that DFAC will provide reimbursement if participant notifies the organization 60 days before the departure date of the trip, so there is sufficient time to find a replacement. Less than 60 days, unless DFAC can find a replacement for the participant, refund will be negotiated based on the costs already paid to lodging and boats.
